Fais Do What!?

Adore will be hosting a Cajun Fais Do-Do on October 29th, 2011, from 1 – 5 p.m. at Bayou Black Recreation Center located at 3688 Southdown Mandalay Road in Houma. Included in the cost of admission is live music by the cajun band LA Rose, bounce houses, and white beans and jambalaya or hot dogs for the children. Some of the additional offerings will be face painting, pumpkin painting, fall family photos, and more! There will also be a 50/50 raffle as well as live and silent auctions, including items such as Saints and LSU tickets, gift baskets and fun activities for the whole family. All proceeds from the Fais Do-Do will go towards continuing the mission of Adore Ministries which is to help build Christian disciples within the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese and beyond. The advance ticket prices are $15 per adult and $5 per child and can be purchased before October 14th by clicking on the “Register Now!” tab below or by calling the Adore Office at 985-876-4132. The cost of admission at the door is $20 per adult and $5 per child.
“The Adore Fais Do-Do will be a great community-building event filled with lots of fun for all ages!” says event coordinator Gretchen George. The Fais Do-Do will be held rain or shine.
