Today I spent the day riding roller coasters with teens, being made fun of on said roller coasters, and hanging out on the beach. It was a day full of community, joy, and laughter. I can't imagine a better way to start wrapping up the summer with these wild teens in this #lifeofjoy

The dream team dreaming big. Sharing life and working alongside these 5 incredible humans: Hawk, Brittany, Kiki, Gordon & Ava made everyday an adventure. Everything from soccer, youth group, formation, or Don Rey was always so joyful. Having people who called you higher in both ministry and your own personal growth, but also attacked you with dodge balls is something really special and I couldn't imagine it any other way. They truly were gifts in this #lifeofjoy

These people. This life. When the internship ended last summer, and I had to go back to school, I was bummed. I couldn't help but feel this constant longing to be back here, living this life of joy I had gotten to be a part of. Today, we had our last summer formation with all the missionaries. We prayed, we laughed, we shared life. As this summer is coming to an end, I don't feel that same fear and sorrow I experienced last summer upon leaving. Instead I'm leaving with hope, conviction, growth, and lots of memories. Getting to intern again was a huge gift. It was hard, it was different, it was joyful. This summer may have been different, but this life was still so good. This summer showed me how real, how messy, how joyful, and how authentic this life is. This life wasn't just meant to be lived here, as I await my next visit, but it was meant to be lived everywhere. This life is good, this life is full of joy, and I can't wait to keep living it as I go back home.

Guess who's back, back again. Hey guys, I'm Annie! I'm a taco loving girly from Arlington, who spends most days in College Station where I'm starting my junior year, but has also found a home in Houston. I came back for a second year of interning, and have loved all of the new adventures, challenges, raspas, craziness, and friendships made. It's been a huge gift to be with some of the same teens, like Johny in this picture, and share life with them in such a familiar yet new way. I can't wait to share my #lifeofjoy with you this week!

You may recognize this gem of an intern because you got to meet her last year during her first summer with us. We are so glad she came back for another round. @annie.ledezma will be sharing her #lifeofjoy with us as we say goodbye to this incredible class of interns this week.

My experience this summer if anything has taught me to rely on Christ . It's hard to do things on your own, it's hard to choose joy, it's difficult to find strength when you are trying to rely on yourself. Joy comes from realizing that there is strength, joy, peace, and love itself waiting to give himself to you in each and every moment. Seek Him first #lifeofjoy

Hello Adore Family!!! Let me introduce myself. My name is Allyson Naftanel sometimes known as Crafty Nafty. I am a current student at Texas A&M University and am studying Community Development! My home is the great state of Colorado but this place and these people have definitely made me feel at home. I have been serving my mission this summer at Most Holy Trinity Parish in Angleton Texas, one of Adore's newest missions! I have milked cows, eaten snowcones, eaten too much pizza, painted a mural, praised Jesus, laughed too hard, made new friends, and learned to live in humidity. {Joy is strength. Joy is prayer. Joy is love. Joy is the net of love by which we can catch souls.-Mother Theresa } I can't wait to share my strength, my prayers, and my love with you this week! #lifeofjoy
