The Generational Gap – Filling the Gap
It is no secret that young adults are leaving the Church in mass numbers after high school. A recent study confirmed that nearly 2/3 of Church-goers today, stopped going to Church altogether for at least a year within the ages of 18 and 22. Although many return at least “sporadically”, 34% said that they had not returned to the Church by the age of 30. These are alarming numbers, considering those polled are those who come back… How many didn’t? There is a Generation missing in the Church and as we look out into the world, Adore’s heart bleeds for this generation to return to God.
Adore’s outreaches to Young Adults includes mentoring, small groups, prayer and retreats. And through these personal efforts we are watching God work miracles.
